TOPIC: RETAINING GOD’S PLAN

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

What we call personal prophecy can be seen as God’s plan for an individual. It details a program of action which, when followed, will glorify God and bring blessing to mankind. As powerful as this plan is, it can be corrupted. Let us illustrate this. About 10 years ago, I sent the manuscript of a work online to the printer. He later called to complain that the file I sent was corrupted and he could not open it.
That rang a bell in me. It is possible that what God is sending to people through prophecy gets corrupted. And to be sure, God is never the source of corruption. The corruption comes through various works of the flesh and the lusts that wage war against the spirit. It comes through flagrant disobedience to the voice of the Spirit and expresses command of God’s holy word. Until such corruption is identified and taken out of the way, it may delay or altogether destroy God’s good purpose.

Eli’s priesthood could have been perpetual. God had earlier communicated that in prophecy. The Bible shows that his sons did not walk in the way of the Lord. As it were, they corrupted the file! They took bribes; and lay with women who came for worship. And even though Eli had a measure of integrity, he became culpable because he failed to stop his children from their wrongdoing. The consequence of this was that they could not reap the full benefit of God’s prophecy for them. Has God spoken any word to you that you are holding onto? Do your part to keep a clean heart before Him; then you can count on in His faithfulness to fulfill His promises.

PRAYER POINTS:
Holy Spirit, help me to retain God’s plan for my life.
My life shall not be corrupted.
my vision and marriage shall not be corrupted, in the name of Jesus.
powers that want to corrupt my life, die by fire, in Jesus name.
I shall be the head and not the tail, in Jesus name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Beloved, hear me as I hear the Lord: in your destiny, things will move from good to better. You will never have a better yesterday; the good things in your life will give way for better things to come; as the good clients give way, better clients will show up; as the good opportunities give way, better opportunities will show up; you will move from favor to high favor; you will move from wealth to greater wealth. Greater is coming.

The cycle of retrogression is broken; the season of rising and falling is over; the time of successes punctuated by negative results is over; the time for progress mixed with failure is over. Henceforth, your path will shine brighter and brighter; things will get better and better; you will rise higher and higher. Every new chapter of your life shall unveil a new wave of good news and increase.
Go and announce to those who have a problem with your current good news that bigger good news is on the way. What is ahead of you is greater. No matter how good your today is, your tomorrow will be better.
